"Hamilton, Thomas Henry, 1875-1935 Born at sea on board the Ocean Mail as it was rounding South Africa’s perilous Cape of Good Hope on 11 September 1875. Thomas died of valvular disease at Katikati on 15 December 1935 and was buried in Katikati Cemetery."
