About Unidentified Harmar
One unverified source thinks his name was "Arthur". This may be valid, or it may be due to confusion with John Harmar II (son of John Harmar I's brother Arthur).
It looks as though this branch of the Harmars went to London to seek their fortune, and found it. Three brothers Harmar from Hackney, London, were identified as "Gent." on various Oxford records.
