Obituary: Mrs. Veronika Gliszczynski, 78, 950 East King Street, died at 12:30PM Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Styba, 722 East Wabasha Street, after an illness of six weeks. Death was from old age. Mrs. Gliszczynski was born in Poland January 25, 1867, and had lived here 61 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart and Holy Rosary Societies of St. Stanislaus Church. Survivors are six children: three sons; Jacob, Winona; Sylvester, Galesville, WI; Rudolph, La Crosse WI; three daughters; Mrs. Robert (Mary) Styba, Mrs. John (Sophia) Barankiewicz and Mrs. John (Margaret) Grochowski, Winona; two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Jereczek and Mrs. Katherine Wachowiak, Winona; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 9AM Monday at St. Stanislaus Church, the Rev. J.F. Cieminski officiated. Pallbearers were John, Leo and Peter Wachowiak, Frank Jereczek, Lawrence Lubinski and John Zakrzewski. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
