Gov. O’Ferrall’s Father-In-Law Dead.
Richmond, Va., Feb. 3.—Col. William C. Knight, father-in-law of Gov. O’Ferrall, died in this city yesterday afternoon at an advanced aged. Col. Knight had been closely identified with the agricultural interests of the State, was a well-known writer on agricultural topics, and was at one time editor of the Southern Planter and Farmer. He was also some years back, prominent in politics, and was a principal in the Knight-Johnson Senatorial contest, Col. Bradley T. Johnson being the other principal.
