Eldest son and child of Governor Thomas Nelson, Jr., Signer of the Declaratin of Indepence, also buried in this cemetery. He married his cousin, about 1790, Sally Burwell Page, eldest daughter and fourth child of Govenor John Page, of Rosewell, Gloucester, Co., Va. and Frances (called Fannie) Burwell, his first wife. There children included: 1. Thomas Nelson born about 1791 - married about 1815, Mary Lewis and died soon afterwards. - no issue 2. Elizabeth Nelson, born about 1793, married about 1813, John Roweles West. 3. William Nelson, Jr., born in 1801 married first Catherine Fox and secondly Martha Whiting Shield.
