"OBITUARY. Emery - -
William N. EMERY was born May 4, 1848, died at this home in Taylor Township, March 19, 1916, aged sIxty-seven years, ten months and fifteen days.
He was the son of William and Marcia EMERY.
He is survived by his wife, and four children, Charles W., of Scotland, John S., of Newberry, Edgar D., of Taylor township, and Mrs. Stella F. FOSTER, of Bloomfield.
He also leaves two brothers, L. B. and J. W., and one sister, Mrs. Josie JAMISON, all of Bedford.
He untied with the Christian Church about twenty-five years ago, and continued a worthy member till his death. He lived a singularly upright, industrious, honest, quite life. Funeral services, conducted by the writer, were held at the Antioch Christian Church, on Tuesday afternoon.
A large number of those who knew him best and loved and respected him were in attendance.
His body now lies sleeping in the little Antioch Cemetery, awaiting that hour "when all, who are in their graves shall hear His voice and shall come forth." "Then shall come to pass the saying that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory."T. A. COX. "
