About William Joseph Taylor, II
Fought in the Black Hawk War, Listed in Pioneers and Prominent Men of Utah by Frank Esshom. William operated Cherry Hill Dairy Farm with his sons. These beautiful and ecologically important wetlands are home to more than 198 species of birds, and this 41.35 acre farm is located at 1785 South Geneva Road, Orem, Utah 84058-2201: and gained Agricultural Protection as of August 18, 2015 via The Utah County Planning Commission. The Taylor Family acquired the 150 acre parcel of land in the 1890's, and it is now protected via the Nature Conservancy
(son of William Joseph Taylor and Mary Bowring). Born November 23, 1859, at Provo, Utah.
Married: Abby Jane Scott August 3, 1882, at Salt Lake City (daughter of Andrew Hunter Scott and Sarah Ann Roe, of Provo, Utah, pioneers September, 1851, Morris Phelps oxteam company). She was born January 30, 1864.
