Winfield Lee Flatt

Winfield Lee Flatt, seventh child of Walter B. and Hannah Flatt, was born on February 13, 1874 and died November 10, 1947. He married Tina Cox in 1902. She was born June 25, 1878 and died June 18, 1961. They lived in Iowa fora number of years then decided to move to California. In 1909 they left by train for the West but on reaching Topeka, Kansas, it became quite apparent that it would be best to delay the rest of the trip. Six weeks after little Edna was born they went on and reached Pomona and the grandparents safely with the four little ones. Eight children came to bless their home. To date there are 50 descendants (1964).
