The purpose of this project is to establish the hierarchy of the Allison families who settled in South Africa in order to designate the correct ranking of Progenitor/Stamvader (SM/PROG).

The following families are listed in South African Family Registers - GISA 2011, Volume 1 - A ISBN - 978 0 7972 1295 4.
