Het verlies van de s.s Bennkom 1941

The Dutch steamship s.s. Bennekom was in Convoy Os 10 bound from Liverpool to the United States. On October 31st, 1941, the convoy was attacked by the German submarine U-96 560 miles W. of Fastnet (Ireland).

The Bennekom was hit by a torpedo and sank with the loss of nine of her crew.
