Patriot Hunt!

Curator Faustine Darsey writes:

”I do lots of merges & have noticed that the only way for me to find them is to search for them. They are not showing up (lots of the time) as duplicates by geni.com. When I search for Patriots of the American Revolution and their descendants, sometimes I will merge 3 to 7 trees just listing the Patriot with different children. Then if there are 4 or 5 different established children, I merge more trees. Many times by the time I get "back" to the Patriot there are no birth and death dates listed. I can merge all day by doing these searches, and they never seem to end. I enjoy this and am not complaining, however I would have expected the "geni computer" to identify these profiles for me. Even with the exact same names and dates, it doesn't always do that ....”

Come help her find our Revolutionary War ancestors and put together families.

Use “discussions” to identify possible duplicates.
