A fraternal organization is an organized society of men associated together in an environment of companionship and brotherhood; dedicated to the intellectual, physical, and social development of its members.
In recent decades, many fraternal organizations have opened membership to women, but these groups are typically still classified as fraternal due to their roots and missions.
NOTE: For Greek-letter fraternal organizations, commonly known as "fraternities" in the United States, see the Greek Organizations Portal. For academic and professional honor societies, see the Honorary Societies Portal. For women's organizations, see the Sororal Organizations Portal.
This portal is intended to be the gateway to all fraternal organization projects on Geni. The goal is to make sub-projects of the individual organizations as warranted.
Please consider starting a sub-project as needed.
The following is a list of general fraternal organizations.
