The object of the overall project is to show where famous, notorious, well known and historical people are buried in Britain.
The people are listed in groups which will be added to, adjusted or split over time. These categories are not cast in stone and may well change as the project evolves.

- Field Marshal Harold Rupert Leofric George Alexander, 1st Earl Alexander of Tunis KG PC GCB OM GCMG CSI DSO MC CD PC(Can) (10 December 1891 – 16 June 1969) was a British military commander and field marshal who served with distinction in both world wars and, afterwards, as Governor General of Canada, the 17th since Canadian Confederation. Buried St. Margaret's Church, Ridge, Hertfordshire
- Edmund Henry Hynman Allenby, 1st Viscount Allenby of Megiddo (1861-1936). Buried St. George's Chapel, known as The Warriors' Chapel, Westminster Abbey, London.
- Major John André 1750-1780 Buried Westminster Abbey, London, south aisle of the Nave.

- Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill (1874-1965] - at Churchill's request, he was buried in the family plot at St Martin's Church, Bladon, near Woodstock, not far from his birthplace at Blenheim Palace.
