This project is for those who were born, lived or died in either Winter Haven or Eloise, Polk County, Florida.

The following description is from my (CLM) memory. Eloise is a suburb of Winter Haven and was founded around 1896. It is the home to many people connected with Florida's Citrus Industry. Snively Elementary School is one of the oldest in the area. There are many churches and they once had a grocery store and post office. Please let me know if this needs updating.
