The Genealogy of the Royal Family

With the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton this week, it is a good time to discuss the genealogy of the royal family. Of course, the House of Windsor‘s history is very well known, so we can easily find how they’re related to over fifty million people on the big tree. Let’s step back a second, and just look at some interesting data we’ve found regarding the royal couple.

William’s Family

Princess DianaPrincess Diana, mother of William, was born July 1st, 1961. She became renowned and beloved for her beauty and charitable works. She had divorced from her husband Prince Charles before tragically dying in a car accident in 1997.
Prince CharlesPrince Charles, father of William, was born November 14th, 1948. He is the son of Queen Elizabeth II, and he is her heir apparent. After divorcing Princess Diana, he went on to marry Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
Prince HarryPrince Harry, brother of William, was born on September 15, 1984. Being the youngest brother of the two, Prince Harry is third in the line of succession behind William and Charles.
