Abigail (Barnard) Fellows descends from Thomas Barnard, a Nantucket founder.
Biography
Abigail Barnard was born in Salisbury, Essex County, in the Massachusetts Bay Colony on 20 January 1657, the daughter of Thomas and Helen "Eleanor" (Morse) Barnard of Salisbury, Essex, (then) Massachusetts Bay Colony.[1] A duplicate record of her birth is found in the collected vital records in Shelburne, based on a privately held record.[2]
She married Samuel Fellows on 02 June 1681 in Salisbury.[3]
Abigail Fellows sent in a letter to the Essex Co. Probate Count dated 27 February 1729/30, refusing administration on her husband's estate due to reasons of old age, and asking that her son Thomas Fellows be granted administration.[4]
