Françoise Joffrion. Her married name was Rouleau. She was born circa 1678. She appeared on the census of 1681 as being four years of age. She is living in Verchères with her parents and her older brothers, André, Jean and Toussaint and her older sister, Marie, and her younger sister, Anne.

On 26 February 1696, Louis Rouleau signed a marriage contract before Notary Claude Maughe, this time with Françoise Joffrion. The marriage took place on 5 March 1696 in the Notre Dame church of Montréal. Neither party knew how to sign their name. Present were Michel Roulleau and Renée Bouquerre, the parents of the groom, and Pierre and Marie, the parents of the bride. Also present were Toussaint Geoffrion, brother of the bride. Also present were Jean Bon and Pierre Chantereau. M. Caille was the priest.

At the 1996 reunion of the Rouleau Family Association, on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of this marriage, a memorial plaque was blessed and placed on a public building at 5540 Jarry East in the town of St-Léonard on the island of Montréal exactly within the northern limit of the property conceded to Louis and Françoise for their farm.

She died on 25 March 1740 in Montréal, Nouvelle-France. She was buried from the Notre-Dame Church in Montréal on 26 March 1740.
