About Jonas Yeatts Fleming
Jonas Y. Fleming, 67, of Littlestown, well known retired farmer of Adams County, died suddenly Friday evening in Punta Gorda, Fla., where he was on a vacation trip.
He was a son of the late William and Virginia (Yeatts) Fleming. At one time he resided on a farm at Zora and was a member of The Pines Lutheran Church, New Chester.
Surviving are his widow, the former Mary M. McCadden; four children: Richard R., Mrs Roberts and Mrs. Thomas Brenner, all of Gettysburg; Mrs. Brickley Orndorff of Harrisburg; six grandchildren; five brothers and sisters: Francis of Fairfield; Harry of Gettysburg; Mrs. George Slaybaugh of Taneytown; Mrs. Delbert Brown of Gettysburg; and Mrs. Susanna Stitt of New Oxford.
Funeral services held at the Little Funeral Home, conducted by his pastor, the Rev. Jack R. Garder, assisted by the Rev. J. Harold Little, Hanover, a former pastor at New Chester. Interment will be in The Pines Cemetery, near New Chester.
