About Jonathan Emery

In all the research that has been done, handed down to me he has NEVER, EVER been referred to as GEORGE EMERY even as an AKA this could be the attempt to try and connect him as the father of Jacob Emery Rev. as his parents has also been given as George Emery and Johanna [-?-] of whom some are giving her maiden name as Ross

- The identity of George and Johannah as the parents of Jacob Emery is based mainly on information found in a hand written copy of Jacob Emery's bible record, furnished by Wilma C. Myrehn - this was false information that has been passed around for years as to the so-called 'family bible'

There is ABSOLUTELYNO PROOF and SOLID DOCUMENTATION that he is the father of Jacob Emery Rev. b. 11 Oct. 1759 and another gives 10 Oct 1760 Essex /Morris County, New Jersey d. 21 Apr. 1824 Sussex county New Jersey. aged 64 yrs. 5 mo. 10 days buried Mettler Cemetery Sandystone Twp., Old Mine Road, Sussex County, New Jersey.m. Elizabeth Ross m 2nd Mary "Polly" Rubert more information on this family here

the family records as given below shows they were families of Essex and Middlesex counties Massachusetts and then Jonathan and Jershua went to Maine - - WHY WOULD THEY GO to Sussex county New Jersey to have only one child and totally abandoned him there going back to Dracut to have their children and them into MAINE??? this make ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE to
me
