I am wildly enjoying this discussion so far. Shmuel, my affection for you just doubled ;^).

Always a cat lover myself, one of the things that attracted me to my husband Dave (married for 4 years now) is that he seems to have this "cat whisperer" magnetism for the cats. They talk to him, they respond to him, paw at him, come and sleep on his chest with their heads nuzzled in his beard.... He's like a Doctor Doolittle for cats (and probably dogs too, but I only have one so I can't generalize). I've myself wondered if perhaps he was a cat in a former life.

Ok here Cat lover for you. My grandmother had cats all over here place she took every stray people use to literally drop off cats at her house. They knew her so well in Mifflin ohio and knew she care for them. My Grandma Gracie raised me this how I know. Love to add her profile to your project as she defiantly loved her kitties.

One horrid story I know of was her favorite calico cat had kittens she was real funny about her littler this time as there was 2 males in bunch. They really rare grandma told me. Well the kittens was just able to walk and hid under her mower on front porch now grandma was really protective of her cats. Grandma told my cousin to always look under mower before starting well this time he didn’t. Well bad thing when the horrific scene over grandma came out with those big round brooms boy did my cousin get a beating thought she was going to kill my cousin. We ended up having funeral service for kittens as I was little and very very upset at whole deal.

Here another Cat lady oh boy this one went way over board as she was more like Cat Horder. This woman to my personal knowledge had over 100 cats in her house house was clean and cats very well taken care of. But boy you couldn’t sit down at her house at all. I was little girl she come over to my grandma Gracie Doerrer Bright house get us and bring to her house on weekly and monthly basis. I personally saw all the cats. She got her cat food when we go to store least 6 50 pound bags a trip. We help her carry them in guess after her husband passed away she was lonely and her kitties gave her comfort. This woman loved cats. Her cats were her kids she named them all. She was great person to cats and human alike. She will be missed.
