Aarne Rissanen

Aarne Rissanen menehtyi vankileireiltä saamaansa keuhkotautiin 1922. Hän joutui vankileirille Suomen sisällissodan takia ja vapauduttuaan sairasteli useamman vuoden ennen kuolemaansa.

Aarne Rissanen was born on September 10th, 1901 in Nurmes, Finland to Olli Rissanen and Ida Mustonen Rissanen, He was their third son. Aarne and his older brothers fought in the Finnish Civil War, he was taken captive, he was let go in 1921, he caught TB(Tuberculosis) in the prison camp and later died in his mother's arms.(((Info from Solie Rissanen Heini, a niece of Aarne))) Aarne died unmarried at the young age of only 21, in Kotka, Finland. RIP Aarne. Aarne is buried in the Parikka Cemetery. He was the first Rissanen buried in the Rissanen family plot.
