ALKOH

Alkoh is the wife of John Leonard. Her husband was employed by the Hudson's Bay Company at Fort George and their daughter Mary Jane Leonard was born there on 16 Apr 1845. British Columbia Death Registrations It cannot be regarded as being certain but it is possible that Alkoh belonged to the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation Wikipedia: Lheidli T'enneh Band Alkoh is reported to have died at Fort George on 23 November 1849 and it is supposed that her widowed husband and her daughter Mary Jane Leonard removed to Fort Kamloops soon after this event.
