Alma Victoria Berglund

Funeral services for Mrs. Gust Berglund were held Monday, July 8, at 2:30 p.m. from the Christine Lake Lutheran church of Lund township. Rev. Laurel Udden officiated. Pallbearers were Edwin Lang, Oscar Larson, David Wahlin, Oscar Wahlin, Arthur Olson and Wallace Olson. Interment was made in the Christine Lake Cemetery. Mrs. Berglund died at her home in Lund township at the age of 65 years, 3 months and 15 days. Alma Victoria Wahlin was born March 20, 1892 to Mr. and Mrs. Ole P. Wahlin. She was baptized in 1892 and confirmed August 30, 1908 by Rev. Eric Floreen. On Sept. 16, 1914, she was married to Gust Berglund by Rev. S. W. Swenson. to this union were born three children, one daughter Gladys, (Mrs. Gilford Jacobson) of Ashby and two sons, Ansel of San Fernando, Calif., and Clinton of Colorado Springs, Colo. Survivors are her husband, three children, five grandchildren and three brothers, Carl Wahlin of Fosston, Minn., Fritz Wahlin of Fertile, Minn., and Hans Wahlin of Minneapolis, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. Victor Miliander, of Fosston, Minn. and several nephews and nieces. Her parents, two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death. (Park Region Echo, 16 July 1957)
