Note ===: Note: Ann MacRae (b. March 16, 1857) came from 33 Back. She was the fourth of eight children of Donald MacRae (b. November 28, 1825) andKirsty MacIver (b. 1829). The birth registration of Ann MacRae states that she was born at 7 p.m. It also states that the father was the informant of the birth but that he was not present for the birth. It states that the father was a labourer at this time. The birth registration is 1857 #48 in the Stornoway Parish #88 in the Counties of Rossand Cromarty, page 16. Ann MacRae married Norman Beaton. He was the brother of Mary Beaton who married Anns brother, Murdo MacRae.
