Blasius (Blazius) Franklin Martin

Blasius Franklin Martin, sixth son and tenth child of John Martin and Elizabeth Bildheimer Martin, was born in Cooper County, Mo. Dec 3, 1866 and died in La Monte, Mo. Sept 21, 1939. On Nov. 15, 1887 he married Sudie Delania Sparks, born Oct. 3, 1871 in Otterville, Mo. and died Jan. 4, 1945 in La Monte, Mo. Following their marriage they moved to Oklahoma, where they resided for several years, then to the State of Washington for a year, after which time they returned to Missouri to reside on a farm near La Monte. For two years Mr. Martin was manager of the Farmers Exchange at Lat Monte, and the last seventeen years of his life he operated a grocery business.

Blasius Franklin Martin and Sudie Delania Sparks Martin were the parents of one son: George Homer (1888)

Blasius Franklin Martin and Sudie Delania Sparks Martin also had an adopted daughter: Emma Styling Martin (????)
