About Capt Silas Zane, Sr.

Ebenezer, William's second son, was born on October 7, 1747, and three more sons followed-Silas, Jonathan, and Isaac. The Zane brothers became explorers and quickly adapted to the fluctuating alliances of local Indian tribes-mainly the Wyandots and Delawares.
