About Conrad Kemper Brumbach (Brumbaugh)

Conrad Brombach (later spelled 'Brumbaugh') was born ca. 1735 in Müsen, Siegen-Wittgenstein, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. He and his younger brother, Johannes, arrived at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 7, 1765, on the ship "Countess of Sussex," piloted by Capt. Thomas Gray from Rotterdam.

The information below is very questionable - what is its basis when Conrad Brombach signed his name when debarking from the ship "Countess of Sussex" that is known to be how he emigrated to America? See Pl. 99 by p. 350 in the 1913 Brumbach genealogy book. for verification of the above information as it applies to the Conrad Brombach who is the ancestor of many descendants of this genealogical listing. Also, can someone verify the addition of Conrad's mother's maiden name "Kemper" as being his middle name. This usage is not shown in any other sources.
