Biography

"Ebenzear fich the son of Nathan Fich was borns the 25 day of April 1690" in Falmouth, Barnstable, Plymouth Colony.[1] Though perhaps this date should be 1696 or '98, as it is out of order on the birth records for the family, and there was scarcely time to have another child after a birth in June of 1689 of his brother John and before his sister Mariah in July 1690, but here we will record what the town record states.

He married Abigail (probably Handy) likely sometime before July 1726 when their first known child was born.

The children of Ebenezer and Abigail (Handy?) Fish were recorded in Sandwich, and their third daughter also in Falmouth:

Deborah Fish, b. 29 July 1726[2]
Patience Fish, b. 28 Sep 1727[2]
Mehitebel Fish, b. 2 Jun 1729,[2] recorded also in Falmouth as June 1729.[3]
