About Elton Clarence Williamson, Sr.
PORT ARTHUR (Sp) — Elton C. Williamson, Sr., 52, of 2004 Ninth Avenue, died about 4 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary’s Hospital after a long illness.
He was a marine engineer.
Grammier - Oberle Funeral Home will announce arrangements.
A native of Uvalda, Ga., he had lived in Port Arthur for 30 years. He was a member of Marine Engineers Beneficial Association.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Robert Williamson of Waco and Elton, Jr. of Ft. Lee, Va.; one daughter, Mrs. Sandra Payne of Washington, D.C.; his father, A.L. Williamson of Vidalia, Ga.; three brothers, N.A. of Warren, Tex., Thaddaus of Vidalia and Aaron of Texas City; two sisters, Mrs. Harvey Rowland of Savannah, Ga., and Mrs. Inez Mixon of Vidalia, and three grandchildren.
