Vina M. Emery, 91, Bloomfield, died Monday, Aug. 24, at Greene County Rehabilitation Center. Born July 1907, in Greene County, she was the daughter of Jackson and Frances (Riley) Dove.

She retired from the Bloomington Woolen Mill and attended the Bloomfield Baptist Church. 

Survivors include two sons, Emil Emery of Indianapolis and Vernon M. Emery of Danville; one daughter, Irene Corbell of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil J. Emery, 1963; one son Robert Lee Emery and one daughter Peggy Neill

Services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Jenkins Funeral Home with the Rev. Red miller officiating. 

Burial was in Grandview Cemetery. Bloomfield News August 27, 1998

He was a foreman for a silo co. In Bloomfield. He fell from a silo and died a few days later on 17 Jul. 1963; buried Grandview Cemetery.
