Ezra B Smith

Ezra Smith was found dead Sunday morning in the boiler house of the A. S. Kreider factory where he was day watchman. He was 67 years old. He left home at 5:30 in the morning and at 9:00 his little grandson, Harvey brought him lunch, intending to spend the day there. Harvey went for help. It appeared that Ezra made no rounds yet and was believed he had been dead for 3 hours. A stroke of apoplexy and cuts and bruises showed signs of a struggle. Surviving are his wife and 3 sons: Howard, Reading; Ammon, Hershey; Harvey, Lebanon. Also these brothers and sisters: Wesley, Pleasant Hill; Samuel, Pleasant Hill; Harry, Philadelphia; Mrs. Harry Brubaker, Waldeck; Mrs. Joseph Sholly, W. Lebanon; and Mrs. Herman Kreiser, Murray. Ezra then married Fyetta Nace on Jul 4, 1912 in Palmyra, Lebanon, PA.
