FRANCIS JORDAN {1634, Ipswich} appeared in Ipswich at the same time as Stephen Jordan. Stephen was probably about twenty years older than Francis, and there is no evidence of any interaction between them in New England, but a relationship between the two is possible.

Francis Jordan and Jane Wilson m. June 9, 1635 at Ipswich, Essex, Massachusetts Bay. Jane is named as his wife in his will. Grandaughter Mary Simson is mentioned; all property and disposal thereof is left to wife Jane. Francis seems to have an estate with multiple properties. His will was made April 23, 1678 at Ipswich. He mentions twice Jane is to be sole executrix and that she will decide who will inherit from her based on his children and grandchildrens' behavior towards her.

His will was proved Sept. 24, 1678 by the witnesses Thomas Knoulton (Knowlton, Sr.) and Francis Wainwright at Ipswich. His first name is spelled "Frances".
