Item I give & dispose of my three Guns as follows viz to Simeon the longest, Levi the next longest, & the other to my Son David, to whom I also give the sum of five shillings; & to my other three Sons viz Caleb Joseph & Samuel I give the like Sum of five Shillings; And to my Daughters I give in like manner viz to Mary the Wife of Mr John Merrill the Sum off five Shillings, to Hannah the Wife of Mr. John Burbank five Shillings
HUTCHINS, SAMUEL (son of Enoch Hutchins) came from Kittery to Arundel about 1739, and died in 1742.
His wife was Hannah, who died June 9, 1747 in Arundel, Maine.
His sons were: Caleb, Samuel, Simeon, Levi, Joseph and David.
His daughters were, Mary, who married John Merrill; Lydia, John Jellison and John Durrell; and Hannah,++ Lemuel Perkins and John Burbank.
