Per the 1901 Census of Canada, Ontario, Hannah (36), her husband Samuel (41), and two of her children, Abraham (20) and Ida (17), are listed as living at #37 (street unknown). Her brother Samson Tiktin (27) and Isidore Siegel (24), Ida's future husband, are listed as lodgers. The Lewis' came to Canada in 1894 from Pennsylvania (after the Johnstown Flood), while Samson and Isidore came in 1900. They were all born in Poland, except Ida and Isidore, who were born in the U.S. Samuel is listed as a Hebrew teacher, Abraham as a furrier, and Samson and Isidore as jewelry salesmen.
