She is referred to as the "daughter of Deacon Moore".

Hannah married John Drake in Windsor on November 30, 1648. John was the son of John & Lettice Shakespear Drake, born in Warwickshire, England. John & Hannah had 11 children. In January of 1670, Hannah, along with the wives of Nathaniel Loomis and Lieutenant Filer, had crossed the Connecticut River on a neighborly errand. On their way back across the river, their canoe was hit by an ice floe, and all three were cast into the freezing river. All three were miraculously rescued by Nathaniel Bissell and an Indian, who were in another canoe on the river. The story of the rescue was written by Increase Mather, and titled "Remarkable Providences". Both John and Hannah died in Windsor, Hannah on February 16, 1686, John late in 1689.
