Research Notes
In the article, "John Bean's First Wife," by Henry Winthrop Hardon [4] the author explains that Hannah Bean, named for her mother, Hannah Lisson, John Bean's first wife, was probably born about 1657 or 1658 and perhaps the second child of her parents. In addition, he says:
If further search should not disclose the record of birth of Hannah, it may well be assumed that she was born a little later than her husband, Abraham Whitaker, Jr. son of Abraham Whitaker and Elizabeth Symonds, daughter of William Symonds of Haverhill. He [Abraham, Jr.] was born February 29, 1656 [Volume 4, Essex Antiquarian, page 142]
