- Henry Becher was the eldest child of Thomas Becher and his wife Elizabeth Turner. He was born on the 20th March 1666 in County Cork, Ireland.
- Attended Dublin University 1683-4."BEECHER, Henry Pen [Mr Patrickson] march 15 1683-84 Aged 19, son of Thomas, Generosus, B. Co Cork"
- In 1698 he married to Henrietta Margaret Owen by licence. Some Pedigrees and Burkes refer to her as Catherine.
- Purchased Hollybrook in 1703 from Trustees of Forfeited Estates. Sales notices in 1852 & 1858 apparently had a lithograph of the floor plan.
- Henry & Henrietta Becher had three children; Henry [died young], Elizabeth and John.
- Henry Becher apparently died in 1738. No record has yet been found for the death of his wife.
