- Will dated 26 Sptember 1720, Aughadown. The surviving abstract reads " I desire my son Michael Becher to divide my household plate between my son Lionel Becher and my daughter Susannah Jervois. To my granddaughters Elizabeth and Susannah Newman 2 silver canns.
I leave the 70 goldpieces in a piece of paper to be divided among my children and grandchildren as directed. The 123 pounds in the hands of my son Michael as follows: To the Rev William Bousfield 5 pounds, to my cousin Elizabeth Laver 20/-, to my cousin John Fleming 5 pounds, to the poor of Aughadown and Skibbereen 5 pounds to be given by Mr Bousfield, To my servant Ann Nash 5 pounds, To my servant Pedro 2 cows and 20/- , to Katherine Driscole 20/-, to Joan Luriff 20/-, to widow Julian Regan 5/- Executor my son Michael Becher Witnesses James Jervois: Ran Warror [could be Randal Warner]; Danile Callanan Probate was granted in 1720.
