Hiram Hobart Rowe, b. Dec. 7, 1861 Walworth County, WI. d. Oct. 13, 1930 at his home in Lake Park, IA following an accidental injury on Oct. 6, 1930. He was the oldest child of Franklin Rowe and Mary Elizabeth Noyes

In 1866 he came with his parents and siblings to Webster County, IA and 8 years later moved to Humboldt county, where he underwent the hardships of pioneer childhood.

On Dec. 19, 1888, he married Minnie Dodson,.dau. of George Washington Dodson and Emeline Jane Eversole

3. Edith Emma Rowe b. Sept 10, 1865 Walworth County, WI d. Jun 9, 1944 Fort Doge, IA. m. Sep 3, 1907 to Thomas Matthew Bedford. (no children) Caretaker of her mother, Mary Noyes Rowe.

4. Alice Augusta Rowe b. Ap. 9, 1868 Webster Co. IA d. Nov. 30, 1945 Wutenburg PA. m. Nels Peder Johnson. Missionary to Mormons. Nine children.

5. Lois Frances Rowe b. Dec. 13, 1872 Webster Co. IA d. Dec. 31, 1891 Fort Doge, IA m. Henry Samuel Stone Weaver Twp. Humboldt Co. IA Eight children.
