Jack W. Schafer

Jack married Mary during the 1950s. He worked for his family's company the Bay City Plumbing and Heating Company as a plumber, assistant secretary, treasurer, and eventually became the owner and president. Jack and Jackie then resided in Bay City for many years. He was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Essexville. Jack was a member of the Plumber's and Pipefitter's Union Local 118 and was a former member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 88. Jack for many years resided in Essexville until he died in 1992 at the age of 66. He was survived by three children, three stepchildren, ten grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews
