James Mason Wilder

James Mason Wilder, son of Abel Wilder and Hannah Payne, was born in Bridport, Addison Co., Vermont on Jan. 26, 1813. He married with ANGELINA ALBINA DAY, dau. of Justin Day and Diadema Bateman on Aug. 6, 1843. She was born 1819 in Clifton, Monroe Co., New York. He died 1899 in Mermentau, Acadia Parish, Louisiana; she died 1905 in Highland, Wright Co., Minnesota. Both buried at Old Crowley Cemetery, Crowley, Acadia Parish, Louisiana.

Children were: Laura Ann (1844-1899; m. Harrison Almanzo Howard), Royal Gould (1847-1925; m. Mrs. Electa M. Averill Hutchinson), Eliza Jane (1850-1930; m. Thayer, m. Gordon), Alice Maria (1853-1892; m. Albert A. Baldwin), Almanzo James (1857-1949; m. Laura Elizabeth Ingalls), and Perley Day (1869-1934).
