About Jean Ramage
Biography
Jean Adair, daughter of Joseph Adair and Sarah Laferty, was born after 1732 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. She died in 1805 at Laurens County, South Carolina and was buried in Duncan Creek, Laurens County, South Carolina.
She married John Ramage, son of James Ramage and Jennett; perhaps his second wife. He was born 1727 and died 16 February 1799 at Duncan’s Creek, where he was buried.
John was a soldier in the American Revolutionary War and noted as A Patriot of the American Revolution for SOUTH CAROLINA (SOLDIER). DAR Ancestor #: A093704.
