Goodeman, Joseph, Sr.

Buena Vista Township

A lifelong resident of Saginaw County, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Raymond Ritter, in Buena Vista Township, Monday evening. Age 79 years, he was born Feb. 12, 1876, in Zilwaukee and moved to Kochville with his parents in childhood. Later he operated a farm in Saginaw Township for over 50 years, retiring in 1950. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Tittabawassee Township. Surviving are two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Catherine Bremer, Kochville; Mrs. Raymond Ritter; Buena Vista; Louis Goodeman and Joseph Goodeman, Jr. both of Saginaw; eight grandchildren; also one brother and one sister, Theodore Goodeman, Bridgeport; Mrs. Augusta Ludlum, Kochville. Funeral announcement will be made later. Friends may call at the Case Chapel after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
