Mrs. Louis Miller, 69, lifelong resident of Saginaw County and active worker of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, King Road, died Sunday at St. Luke's Hospital. Lena Goodeman was born December 2, 1868, in Zilwaukee. She moved to Kochville Township with her parents in 1880. She was married to Louis Miller May 7, 1893, and they moved to a farm on Baker Road, Bridgeport Township. Mrs. Miller leaves her husband, a niece, Mrs. Louis Scharrer, with whom she made her home; a sister and four brothers, Mrs. Lavant Ludlum of Zilwaukee, John Goodeman of Brimley, Mich., William and Joseph Goodeman of Kochville and Theodore Goodeman of Bridgeport. Mrs. Miller was an active member of St. Matthew's Ladies Aid Society. Funeral services will take place Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. at the Reitz Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. at St. Matthew's Church. Rev. C.F. Miller will officiate and burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetary, Bridgeport.
