Passed away 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 1971 at St. Luke's Hospital following a brief illness. Age 92 years. HE was born May 8, 1979 in Zilwaukee and had lived in this area all of his life, and since their marri[a]ge at their present home. He married Alberta F. Ludlum here April 5. 1905. SHe survives him. He was a amember of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church on King Road. He had engaged in farming all of his life. Surviving, besides his wife, are two daughters and one son, Mrs. Fred (Grace) Schreiber and Fred Goodeman, both of Bridgeport; Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Russell, Bay City; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Rev. Stanley Kleen will officiate with burial in Pinegrove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Case Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway from 3 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday and at the church from 1 p.m. Thursday until time of service.
