Josiah Richmond was born circa 1700 at prob., Taunton. He was the son of Joseph Richmond and Mary Andrews.
Josiah Richmond married Elishabe Pool, daughter of Isaac Pool of Dighton, on 14 May 1730 at Dighton. Marriage banns for Josiah Richmond and Joannah Briggs were published on 26 December 1747 at Dighton.
Was living on 4 Sep 1779, when use of land was reserved to him.
He may have filed for marriage intentions in Dighton in 1745 with Anne HART of Taunton.
