MRS. JULIA WEIDENTHAL
A true mother In Israel passed to her eternal reward in Mrs. Julia Weldenthal, who died surrounded by her loving children Sunday night at the family home, 37 Paddock Place, after a long illness.
Mrs. Weldenthal was born In Miskolcz, Hungary, sixty eight years ago and came to this country in 1868 settling In Cleveland, being one of the earliest among the local Hungarian-Jewish settlers. Her husband, Emanuel Weidenthal, died in April, 1897.
The children of the departed are Maurice and Henry Weldenthal of the Cleveland Press, Leo Weldenthal of the Cleveland Leader; the Misses Rose and Lillian Weidenthal, the latter a teacher in Rockwell school; Mrs. Slgmund Glick, of Chicago; Mrs. Adolph Kline, Mrs. Emanuel M. Klein and Mrs. Emanuel Sperling of this city, Edward, a boy of 12, died 31 years ago.
The funeral was conducted from the residence Tuesday afternoon In presence of a large number of mourning relatives and friends, the sermon being preached by Rabbi M. Machol, of the Scovill Avenue Temple. The Interment took place in Mayfield cemetery, following brief services in the chapel.
The pallbearers were S. H. Llttman, Arnold Newman, Adolph Bukstein, Joseph Grossman, Gabriel Klein and Edward Lazrowitch.
