Mrs. Ruth Klein, Daughter of Pioneer Clevelanders Passes Away

Mrs. Ruth Klein, daughtei of Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Weidenthal, pioneer residents of Cleveland, passed away suddenly at her home, 2761 Euclid Heights Boulevard, on Tuesday, May 10.

Mis. Klein was the widow of the late E. M. Klein, president of the E. M. Klein Company, ladies' dress manufacturers and the mother of the late Alan Klein, vice president of the Goldsmith Publishing Company.

Mrs. Klein was born in Cleveland and lived here her entire life. She was a graduate of Central High School and of the Cleveland Normal School, and was a teacher in the Cleveland public schools previous to her marriage.

Mrs. Klein was a member of the Temple. She is survived by her brothers, Leo Weidenthal, editor of the Jewish Independent, and Henry Weidenthal of the Cleveland News, and her sisters, Mrs. Adolph Kline. Miss Lillie Weidenthal and Mrs. E. Sperling of Cleveland and Mrs. Sigmund Glick of Chicago. Funeral services were conducted on Thurs-, May 12 at Mayfield Chapel, Rabbi Silver officiating.
