- Know yee that wee for and in consideration that Adam Shepley of Ann Arundell County in our s'd Province of Maryland hath due unto him two hundred acres of land within our Province by afsignment of George Yate the remainder of a warrant for five hundred acres granted to the s'd Yate 3/23/1680 as appears on record. And, upon such conditions and terms as are exprefsed in our Conditions of Plantation of our late father Cecilius ofbnoble memory, wee doe hereby grant unto the s'd Adam Shepley all that parcell of land lying in Ann Arundell County on the south side of the Ann Arundell River called Shepley's Choice beginning at a bound Chestnutt tree.
