Lady Jean Sutherland

Not the same as wife of James Laudedale

Lady Jean Sutherland was born circa 1681.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. John Sutherland, 16th Earl of Sutherland and Helen Cochrane.1,3 A contract for the marriage of Lady Jean Sutherland and James Maitland, Viscount Maitland was signed on 31 August 1702.1 She died on 11 February 1747.1
